Description
Acorn squash can be cooked a multitude of ways, like baking, broiling, steaming, stuffing or sautéing. Its mild buttery taste goes well with spices like ginger and cinnamon. Prep squash by slicing it in half from the stem to the point (instead of across the diameter) and remove the stringy center pocket of seeds. And don’t worry about peeling the ribbed surface — it’s edible and softens when cooked.
